A friendly, Ofsted-registered pre-school for little ones in Skidby, Cottingham
We provide childcare funded through the national free childcare scheme for three and four-year-olds, as well as funded care for eligible two-year-olds, including the full 30 hours free childcare entitlement.
Set within the grounds of Skidby CE Primary School, we offer a safe and friendly environment to help your child learn and develop, with our own enclosed and sheltered outdoor play area.
We were delighted to earn a verdict of GOOD in all areas at our last Ofsted inspection in 2022.
We are proud to offer a very friendly and happy environment at Skidby Pre-School for all children to learn through play and activities. We are a small setting within Skidby C of E Primary School with our own enclosed and sheltered outdoor play area. We work very closely with the school and staff.
We have resources and equipment to vary and maintain the interest of our children so they develop in all areas of the curriculum. We promote learning through play, with child participation and independence of choice strongly encouraged throughout all our activities.
We have a good balance of adult and child-led activities, as well as free play throughout each session, helping children build confidence, social skills and independent choice. We pride ourselves on preparing all our children for a smooth transition into primary school.
