Opening times, term dates and funding

We accept children aged two, three and four, with funding available for eligible two-year-olds and for all three and four-year-olds. We also offer the full 30 hours free childcare for three and four-year-olds. More information on funding is available from East Riding of Yorkshire Council's Families Information Service Hub (FISH), which has details of free early education for two-year-olds, free childcare for three and four-year-olds, and the 30 hours free childcare entitlement.

School will be closed to pupils on Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd September 2025, with children starting Wednesday 3rd September. Half-term runs to Friday 24th October, restarting Monday 3rd November, before closing for Christmas Friday 19th December. The spring term resumes Tuesday 6th January 2026 after non-contact days, with half-term from Friday 13th February to Monday 23rd February, and closing for Easter Friday 27th March. The summer term starts Tuesday 14th April 2026, includes the May Day Bank Holiday Monday 4th May, half-term from Friday 22nd May to Monday 1st June, and closes for summer Friday 17th July, with a non-contact day Monday 20th July 2026. Please note our term dates may differ slightly from East Riding term dates due to teacher training days.
